A quick tip: If you're unsure whether you have a chat backup, you can check by launching WhatsApp, heading to a settings tab, choosing Chats, and afterward choosing Chat Backup.
Step 2: On your phone, disable WhatsApp and then reinstall it.
Step 3: To verify it, open the app then input your phone number.
Step 4: To begin the process of retrieving your data from a backup including the deleted communications, select Restore.
