How to Fix “No Audio Output Device is Installed” Error Windows 10?

Hello Everyone, Please let me know that how to fix “No Audio output device is installed” error windows 10? I am facing this issue last 1 week I don't know how to fix it. Help me.

How Do I Fix No Audio Output Device is Installed Windows 10?

If you have come across any " No audio output device is installed" error on your Windows 10, then here are a few ways to resolve the error.  You can try updating the audio device driver automatically, uninstalling the device driver, and then uninstalling manually and reinstalling the device.  

Downloading the driver support will help you diagnose the issues with the driver on your computer.  

If you have the premium version of the driver support, then certain sound drivers update themselves automatically.  To fix this error, you can also try Re-enabling your sound device. 

1) Update Your Audio Device Driver Automatically

If you are looking for a way to fix no audio output device problem without going through lengthy and complicated procedures, then download the driver support as it will diagnose the driver issues on your computer. This does not require you to know the operating system on which your system is running.

There are some sound drivers that can automatically get updated if you buy the premium version of the driver support. This will surely fix the problem of no audio output device is installed Windows 10. 

2) Uninstall the Device Driver and Then Uninstall Manually

Step 1: The first thing that you need to do is to open the device manager. This can simply be done by making a Windows search.

 

Step 2: Go down to search for the category "Sound, Video and game controllers", expand. This will help you find your audio device. Now, go to your audio device and then right-click on it. After that, click on uninstall to uninstall the driver.

Step 3: Reboot your computer system. Now, Windows will start reinstalling the sound driver. It will install the correct driver and that too the latest one. This is going to fix your problem for sure.

Reinstall the Device

In order to fix your audio issue, these are the steps that you need to follow.

Step 1: Press the Windows key on your keyboard. Also, press the R key at the same time. Now, type devmgmt.msc in the run box and select Ok. 

Step 2: Search for the category of sound, video, and game controllers. If you don't see this category, then move ahead with the steps below.

Step 2 a: Go to the Action menu and then select Add Legacy hardware.

Step 2 b: Select the option of Next to go to the Add Hardware wizard.

Step 2 c: Select "search for and install hardware automatically".

Step 2 d: In case the Wizard tells you that it cannot search for new hardware, then select Next.

Step 2e: Now, look for a hardware types list. Go down to see sound, video, and game controllers. Select it and then click on Next.

Step 2f: Choose the model of your sound card and manufacturer. After that, click on Next. 

Then, select Next for installing the device and once the installation is over, you can select the option of Finish. 

Re-enable Your Sound Device

Go to the device manager and expand the category of game, video, and sound controllers and then go to the audio device and right-click on it. Now, select Enable option in the pop-up menu. 

This will surely fix the problem of no audio output device is installed on Windows 10.
