I recently switched to a streaming service instead of keeping my TV's cable connection. I was considering Hulu's essential subscription, which, sadly, includes advertisements.
After a few minutes of viewing a Hulu show, I was startled out of my chair because of an unusually loud mobile commercial. Because of the loud level, it nearly sounded like a jump scare from a horror movie.
I soon discovered that numerous Hulu users had reported the same problem. Unsurprisingly, I came across many forums where individuals criticized incredibly loud adverts.
Although Hulu programming is set to play at a lower volume, Hulu Commercials So Loud. This makes you have to turn up the volume on the Hulu thing you're watching. Whenever a commercial begins, the book is unusually high.
Fortunately, I discovered a couple of techniques for silencing Hulu advertisements. Meanwhile, some of these depend on the individual Hulu streaming device you are using.
This was the simplest change that had the most significant impact when using Hulu on my Samsung TV.
You will not discover an audio levelling setting by default when using a Mac and a Windows computer to watch Hulu, so here's what you need to do.
I added the AdBlock addon to my Chrome browser to stop seeing advertising. On most websites, this plugin operates without a hitch. It is partially error-proof, though, and occasionally advertisements may appear.
Despite not having to view all the advertisements, I still find it beneficial. Additionally, the extension prevents third-party trackers and pop-up advertising. So for me, it's a terrific security addition.
Even though many customers claim to still see commercials after purchasing a Hulu No Commercials subscription, some shows and Live TV are not included in the ad-free experience.
As a result, you will still see advertisements when watching these programs.
Loud advertising on Hulu is a long-standing issue. Hulu has been claiming to be attempting to correct its platform's audio imbalances for years. However, the majority of users have yet to discover an easy fix.
Many customers have switched to alternative streaming services like YouTube TV because it is less expensive and doesn't feature intrusive advertising.
Hulu + Live TV's competition, YouTube TV, offers a monthly membership that starts at $64.99.
At first, I believed Hulu would remove the annoying adverts in a later update. But the issue still exists. The audio levelling process is the quickest technique to increase the loudness.
But things take a turn. Audio levelling can reduce the sound quality of the content on some TVs. Most Hulu customers find this to be an unsettling experience once more.
Consider switching to a different service like YouTube TV if audio levelling does not work, and you dislike hitting the mute button before each commercial.
