How to Use AirPlay to Stream Videos to Your TV??

Apple's AirPlay casting function makes it possible for you to watch YouTube on a bigger screen and to cast videos from your iPhone to your TV. As long as your device is linked to the same Wi-Fi as the TV, AirPlay enables you to wirelessly cast videos or audio from your iPhone, iPad, and Mac to an Apple TV or even an AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.

Any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac can stream videos. Even streaming video from a Windows PC is possible, and only via iTunes. Just ensure the operating system on your device is up to date. The most recent version, AirPlay 2, also allows users to connect speakers, broadcast audio to various rooms, and select the room it should be played in. Here's how to use AirPlay to stream videos to your TV.

Iphone Users: Use Airplay

Although these guidelines were written primarily for an iPhone, they can also be followed for an iPad and iPod touch. Depending on the app you're watching the movie from, there are significant changes in the process. You must adhere to one of two sets of instructions:

Whenever you start an app or even a movie within an app if you notice an AirPlay button (which resembles a rectangle with just an arrow going up at the bottom), press on that to activate AirPlay. An AirPlay button, for instance, can be found in the bottom right corner of the video on the iPad version of a YouTube app.

If there isn't an AirPlay button, you must first choose the app's choice for casting, sharing, or playing content on another device, then choose AirPlay from the menu that appears. For instance, to select "AirPlay & Bluetooth devices" in the YouTube app for the iPhone, hit the cast button at the top of the screen. Click the share button in Photos. Next, select AirPlay by scrolling down.

• Click the device you want to utilise AirPlay with in either type of app.
• A code may be shown on your TV. On the phone's screen, type that in the appropriate field and press OK.
• You are now using AirPlay to send your video to your TV.
• Open the AirPlay window like you did previously then select "iPhone" from the list of devices to discontinue casting. This will send your iPhone's TV feed back to TV. You must select "My Device" after tapping the AirPlay button at the top right corner of Photos.

On Your Mac, Use Airplay

• The video you want to cast to your TV should be opened.
• Select the AirPlay icon. It's typically (but not always) in the bottom right corner of the video.
• From the drop-down menu, choose the device you want to stream your video to.
• The code shown on your TV must be requested by your Mac. Fill out the pop-up window with it.
• The same AirPlay button you used to initiate AirPlay must be pressed again in order to discontinue casting. Go to the drop-down menu and choose "Stop AirPlay."

Using an AirPlay On a Computer

On a Windows computer, AirPlay is only available for iTunes content. For that:

• Launch iTunes, then start a video.
• In the lower left-hand corner of the screen, click the AirPlay button.
• Choose the platform where you wish to view it.
• A code entry prompt might appear.
• In that case, enter the TV's code into the pop-up PC window.
• The video you were watching should now be playing on your TV.
• Tap the AirPlay button once more and then choose "My Computer" to disable AirPlay.
