How to Make a Public Profile on Snapchat?

Snapchat is a very popular social media platform that allows you to establish communication with friends, family, and colleagues. In the array of several sophisticated features, Snapchat has gone on to integrate a very unique feature of making one’s profile public further.

Step 1 - You have to change the Settings on your Snapchat login to make a public profile on Snapchat. So, simply open Snapchat and log in to your account.

Step 2 - Now click on the icon showcasing your profile image on the top-left corner of your computer screen.

Step 3 - Now tap on the icon resembling a gear that is being displayed on the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 4 - Now find the Who Can section by scrolling down the page that gets opened after you click on the gear icon and change the status of various fields as shown below.

• Send Me Notification : Everyone
• View My Story : Everyone
• See My Location : My Friends
• Use My Cameos Selfie : Everyone
• See Me in Quick Add : Turned On

Step 5 - After making the necessary changes as discussed in Step 4 above, close your Snapchat account and log in again.

Step 6 - Now in the next step, you have to create and update your Public Profile. To do this follow Steps 7 to Step 13 mentioned underneath.

Step 7 - Again click on your profile image. As soon as you click on the profile image Stories section will get opened.

Step 8 - Now navigate to find Add to Snap Map or Spotlight & Snap under the Stories section.

Step 9 - Locate three vertical dots being reflected against Snap Map or Spotlight & Snap and click on either of those to make a public profile on Snapchat.

Step 10 - Now tap on Create Public Profile and click on Continue to convert your existing Snapchat to Tier-1 Public Profile.

Step 11 - Now click on Get Started to take the process of making a public profile on Snapchat forward.

Step 12 - Subsequently, a disclaimer page will pop up on which you will have to press the Create button.

Step 13 - Now as per your convenience you can add or edit details related to your public profile simply by clicking on the Public Profile option under the Settings tab.
