How to Fix Logitech Keyboard not Working

Please let me know how to fix Logitech keyboard not working. When i am trying to work on my computer then my Logitech keyboard not working. Help me.

Outdated drivers can also lead to this problem. Many apps conflict with the functioning of your keyboard. Your keyboard may fail to work when these apps are working. 

A lot of users have reported that a Logitech keyboard fails to work after replacing the batteries. This might happen if the newly-inserted batteries are faulty. You may also face the problem if your keyboard is not properly connected to the power source. The manufacturer provides you with the inbuilt keyboard touchpads in case your Logitech keyboard stops working. 

How to Fix the Logitech Keyboard not Working Problem?

1) Some Basic Checks 

Connection issues generally lead to the Logitech keyboard not working problem. If you find that your keyboard is a bit weird, then ensure that is properly connected. Also, check that the cable is not damaged from anywhere.  

In case this solution does not help you with your problem, then that means the issue lies elsewhere. There is a chance that the problem lies with the computer or keyboard. To check this out, you must connect your keyboard to another computer. 

2) Update the Driver of Your Keyboard

Below we have mentioned the simple steps that you need to follow to update the driver of your keyboard. 

Step 1: Go to the Start button and then right-click on it. You can also press the Windows and X keys simultaneously to open the Power User menu. After that, choose Device Manager from the list of options. 

Step 2: You need to go to the keyboard entry and double-click on it to see the Logitech keyboard that is malfunctioning. 

Step 3: Right-click on it and then select the option of Update driver by going to the context menu. 

Step 4: After that, choose the option of Search automatically for drivers in the window of Update Drivers. 

Step 5: Wait for the OS to search for and install the best driver. 

Drivers are an important piece of software and problems with the software can cause serious device malfunction. So, in case your Logitech keyboard is not working, then you must update the drivers right away. 

3) Run the HD Service

Step 1: Press the Windows key and S key simultaneously to open the Search menu. After that, enter Services in the Text area given at the top. Then, you need to select the relevant search result. 

Step 2: After that, search for the Human Interface Device Service and then right-click on it. Then, choose Properties. 

Step 3: Select Startup type from the dropdown menu and then choose Automatic from the list of options. 

Step 4: After that, click on the Start button given below the Service status. When it starts running, you need to select Ok given at the end of the screen and then save the changes. 

4) Uninstall a Conflicting Software

Step 1: Press Windows and R key to launch Run. After that, type appwiz.cpl given in the text area. Then, press the Enter key. You can also select OK to open Programs and Features window. 

Step 2: After that, you must select a conflicting program and then choose Uninstall. 

Step 3: Now, choose Yes from the confirmation prompt. 

Step 4: Then, carry out the instructions appearing on the screen to finish the process. 

Sometimes, a conflicting app or software leads to a Logitech keyboard not working problem. To resolve this issue, you must uninstall the conflicting software. 

5) Disable the Filter Keys Feature

Step 1: Press the Windows and I keys simultaneously to launch the Settings app. Choose accessibility from the tabs given in the navigation pane given at the left. 

Step 2: After that, select keyboard on the right. 

Step 3: After that, turn off your toggle next to the option of Filter Keys to turn off this feature.
