One can encounter streaming issues at any point in time while using a streaming service. Before we go through the solutions, let's first find out what leads to these errors.
Hulu error PLRUNK is a playback issue, which is caused due to network issues. Users come across this problem while streaming content on Hulu. Corrupt data can also lead to this error code. Hulu error code PLRUNK15 is also caused because of connectivity issues.
This error code also appears because of connectivity issues. This can happen because of problems with the Hulu server or internet connection issues.
You can resolve these error codes simply by restarting the Hulu app. Also, you can delete the temporary data. For this, you just need to close the Hulu app and then power off your device.
Wait for at least 60 seconds and then restart your device. Now, launch the Hulu app and try streaming content on it.
Do a speed test and check if there is a strong network connection. Try to open a website on your internet browser and then check if it helps you connect to the internet or not. If the internet is not working, then turn off your modem and then turn it on again.
Another way to resolve the issue is to restart the device you are using. You just need to turn off the device and then disconnect it from the power source. Wait for half a minute and then reconnect your device to the electrical outlet.
After that, power on your device and then open the Hulu app. Now, stream any movie or TV show and check if your problem is resolved or not.
If none of the above-mentioned solutions help you out with your problem, then you can try to resolve your issue by reinstalling the Hulu app. Carry out the simple steps mentioned below in order to reinstall the Hulu app.
Step 1: Go to the main menu and start searching for the Hulu app.
Step 2: Press the asterisk button on your Roku remote and then select the option of Remove Channel on your Roku remote.
Step 3: Wat for half a minute.
Step 4: After that, visit the Roku Channel Store.
Step 5: Now, start looking for the Hulu app and then select Add Channel.
There is a chance that you are not able to stream content n Hulu because of ad blockers. So, if you have an ad blocker, then you must uninstall it immediately. If you don't wish to uninstall it, then disable it temporarily and check if you are able to stream content after that or not.
If yes, then great. If no, then move on to the next solution.
If you are not able to resolve the Hulu error code PLRUNK15, PLAREQ17, or PLAUNK65 by applying the solutions given above, then you must try to fix this problem by updating your Roku device.
Step 1: Press the Home button on your Roku device and then open Settings.
Step 2: Select System and then select the option of System Update.
Step 3: Select Check Now and see if there are any available updates.
